Celebrated every October since our founding 20 years ago, the Ranga Shankara Theatre Festival brings together a vibrant mix of plays — across genres, languages, and regions — all tied together by a thoughtful central theme. Each year, we curate performances you wouldn’t otherwise get to see in the city, making the festival one of Bengaluru’s most eagerly awaited cultural events!
We invest in the Theatre community through a series of workshops led by masters in their fields; enabling the younger generation to hone their craft and connect as a Community.
Your contribution to our Corpus Fund will provide long-term financial stability for Ranga Shankara, helping us continue to nurture and pass on the invaluable treasure of theatre to future generations.

A Platform for Global Theatre and Learning
Since 2006, we have reached ~150,000 children in Bengaluru through acclaimed national and international Theatre for children productions. The festival welcomes kids aged 20 months to 16 years, fosters a vibrant theatre movement and network for the future of children’s theatre.
Fostering Creativity, Self-Confidence and Skills
Promotes personal growth through a fun, hands-on learning experience for kids aged 8 to 12 during Summer vacations. A screen-free meaningful engagement for kids.
Stories Little Ones Can Float Away On
January through March, every year, we offer a unique storytelling experience exclusively for children ages 4~6 years – encouraging imagination, listening skills and creative daydreaming.
