Theatre Prepares is a series of workshops designed to elevate young talents that facilitates training by stalwarts of Indian Theatre. These workshops range from Direction, Dramaturgy, Scene Design, Acting, Lighting Design, Sound Design to Producing.
Eligibility: Minimum 3 years of theatre experience in your respective field.
Fee: Rs. 4000 per workshop.

Summer Express 2025

Summer Express is a signature programme of our AHA! Theatre For Children initiative, offering a transformative 13-day workshop series for children. Taking place in Bangalore during April and May, these day-long workshops are led by senior theatre facilitators, introducing kids to various aspects of the stage. The program nurtures creativity, builds confidence, and fosters meaningful learning experiences, ensuring children stay actively engaged during the summer by providing an enriching alternative to screen time and passive activities.
This year’s Summer Express will feature 8 workshops dealing with a variety of different facets of theatre, and 2 cooking workshops. Details given below.
Summer Express 2025 will run in two batches:
Batch 1: April 14th to April 27th, 2025
Batch 2: April 28th to May 11th, 2025
Registrations will begin on 11th of March, only in-person registrations at Ranga Shankara. Few slots are available for pre-registrations on BookMyShow, but final registration must be completed within two days of pre-registration, in-person at Ranga Shankara.
Each batch is a complete course in itself. Workshops will be conducted every day except Sundays. On the final day of the workshop, participants will present a showcase on the Ranga Shankara stage.
